We are John and Alice Pawsey. John’s family have farmed here for four generations, and since 1999 we have farmed organically for our family as well as helping like minded neighbouring farmers who share our passion for soils, the countryside and naturally good food. With a motivated and enthusiastic team we aim to farm leaving our soil in good heart for future generations.
Visits to Shimpling Park Farm give pupils an invaluable insight into the countryside, the business of farming and the fun of learning outside the classroom. Time on the farm reinforces every aspect of the curriculum from maths to art, from science to PHSE. Shortlisted for a Bayer award for exceptional farm visits and accredited by CEVAS , the farm visits at Shimpling Park Farm are inspirational, empowering and full of fun for all ages.
